Notification of a newly proposed names for bacterial plant pathogens.

It is the intent of the International Society of Plant Pathology, Committee on the Taxonomy of Plant Pathogenic Bacteria to publish annual listings of new names of bacterial plant pathogens.  Submission of the requested information will help insure that names from newly developed proposals are included in these lists.  To ensure that your proposal is included in the annual list, please fill out this notification as completely as possible and submit a copy of the paper to the convener.

1 The type material for newly proposed taxa must be sent to at least one and preferably two internationally reputable culture collections.  For the type strains, please provide the accession numbers of the type strains from these culture collections.

2 Please provide the strain number from the local culture collection if used in the paper for type material presented.  This will be used to insure that type material in various culture collections was derreived from the same original strain.
